Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Jennifer  Egan will be part of an all-star lineup  that will celebrate Jane Austen, 250 years after her birth year, at 92NY on Thursday evening, March 27.

The event begins with a reading by film actors Emily Mortimer and Alessandro Nivola. Then, the Irish-American author of “Manhattan Beach” Egan will with fellow writers, Helen Fielding (“Bridget Jones”) , memoirist and essayist Vivian Gornick, Kevin Kwan (“Crazy Rich Asians) and Alexandra Schwartz of the New Yorker, discuss Austen's iconic novels, her life, and her enduring legacy, how she has remained in the cultural bloodstream for so long, and how she has influenced their own work.
