The Republic of Ireland’s women’s national team will face a two-legged playoff against Wales later this month and early next month with the prize being a place in the Euro 2025 in Switzerland next summer.
The Irish were already 6-0 to the good following last week’s first leg against Georgia in Tbilisi before the second started on Tuesday at Tallaght Stadium in Dublin.
An attendance of 8,745 saw the home team confirm their passage to the next and last playoff round with a 3-0 win, with goals from Julie-Ann Russell, Kyra Carusa and Katie McCabe.
The games against Wales will be played away on Friday evening, Nov. 29, and at home on Tuesday evening, Dec. 3.
