The New Jersey-based Irish American Cultural Institute will honor John J. Murphy as its 2019 Annie Moore Award to be presented at the 26th Annual Washington’s Saint Patrick’s Day Ball this Saturday, February 23, at the Madison Hotel, Morristown. Murphy, whose Irish roots are Kerry and Clare, is a partner with the Private Advisor Group, a financial planning and investment firm headquartered in Morristown, NJ. He is a Commissioner on the Morris County Board of Elections and was Grand Marshal of the 2018 Morris County St. Patrick’s Day Parade. He is an active member of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of Morris County, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Irish American Association of North West Jersey. More at www.iaci-usa.org.
