As they do every year members of the 69th New York State Historical Association cleaning the area around the Irish Brigade Monument at Gettysburg during the recent Remembrance Day ceremonies at the battle site. Each year on Remembrance Day, which mark’s Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, Mass is celebrated at Father Corby’s Monument, not far from the battle’s “high-water” mark.
