Hear ye, hear ye!

Six-year-old Yikai Zhao, with musicians from the Royal Irish Academy of Music, announcing the good news of the program for MusicTown 2017 which runs from April 7 - 14 and celebrates the rich music heritage and contemporary artistic lifeblood of Dublin City. Programme ranges from classical to pop, trad to rock, psychedelic to opera, electronic and everything in between and includes artists such as Craig David, John Prine, Bronagh Gallagher, Melanie C, Katie Kim and Crash Ensemble, Liam Ó Maonlaí & Rónán Ó Snodaigh, Kevin Rowland, a tribute to Brady / Irvine, Opera Theatre Company’s production of Handel’s Acis and Galatea, the inaugural Dublin International Choral Festival concerts, Our Lady’s Choral Society performing extracts of the Messiah, Dublin live Musical trail and five events from the RIAM including a free percussion day.
