John G Kelly Jr. joined the FDNY in July of 1988 and am currently assigned to Engine Company 201 in Sunset Park. In 2002 I was elected the Brooklyn Trustee of the Uniformed Firefighters Association and after two years was elected the Chairman of the Board of Trustees whose responsibilities include our pension investments and benefits of all active and retired firefighters. I held these positions until 2020. Upon leaving my union position I was detailed to the Family Assistance Unit and am currently assisting members who have become ill.
