Robert Nolet

Where do you live? Plymouth, MA.

Current company and position? Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce - Director of Operations.

First job and what it taught me? My first job was at the age of 16. I started working in retail at American Eagle Outfitters. That job taught me the importance of having good customer service skills, clear communication and the ability to adapt to different needs and situations of customers. It set the foundation for strong work ethics for me at a young age.

How do you embrace your Irish heritage? I am deeply interested in researching my genealogy and ancestry. Through genealogy sites, I have traced my family roots and had the incredible opportunity to visit Ireland to see where my family originated. Preserving and passing down my family’s stories to the next generation is a commitment I hold for myself. My late uncle, who often shared generational stories and reminded me of my Irish heritage, played a significant role in inspiring this passion. I feel fortunate to have shared that memorable trip to Ireland with him, and I am dedicated to continuing to tell our family’s story.

Something people would be surprised to know about me... I’m a big Lego fanatic!
