Neve Wallace
Where do you live? Brooklyn, New York.
Current company and position? Account Executive at Goodman Media International.
First job and what it taught me? My first job as a waitress taught me one of the most important lessons I've learned in marketing: you can't sacrifice customer service for efficiency, and you can't sacrifice efficiency for customer service. Guiding patrons and shoppers to enjoy themselves and progress through their consumer journey at an efficient pace -- without rushing them -- is a delicate art. Serving customers at a fast-paced New York City restaurant laid the foundation for this high-stress, high-reward lesson.
How do you embrace your Irish heritage? A dedicated listener and student of her Irish grandparents, my mother has instilled in me and my family a long-lasting connection to and appreciation for our Irish family who endured so that we could flourish. Though there are many themes to muse upon from my family's history and Irish history at large, I find perseverance to be the most meaningful to carry forward, in my professional and personal life, in small ways and big.
