Where do you live? Arlington, VA.
Current company and position? Nestlé USA, Functional Development Manager.
First job and what it taught me? My first job was at The Frigate, an ice cream parlor in my hometown of Port Jefferson, NY. I loved connecting with customers, who were always in great spirits while enjoying their sweet treats. This experience taught me to appreciate life’s simple pleasures, like savoring ice cream with family and friends on a warm summer evening.
How do you embrace your Irish heritage? I celebrate my Irish heritage by cooking traditional Irish cuisine, including preparing my family’s Irish Soda Bread recipe each St. Patrick’s Day. In February 2024, I deepened my connection to my roots by traveling to Ireland, where I explored the vibrant cities of Dublin and Galway, as well as the picturesque Irish countryside.
Something people would be surprised to know about me... I've been in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade four times! When I worked for Macy's Inc. they let employees volunteer in the parade.
Biography: Megan Fitzpatrick, born September 1991, in Port Jefferson, NY, is the third of five siblings in the Irish Catholic Fitzpatrick family. A graduate of St. Anthony’s High School, Megan attended Indiana University, where she majored in finance, captained the NCAA Division 1 Women’s Rowing Team, and earned Academic All-Big Ten Honors. She began her career at Macy’s Inc., transitioned to Whole Foods Market as a Buyer, and now works at Nestlé USA on the Sales Functional Development team. Megan is dedicated to talent development and organizational excellence while celebrating her Irish heritage and family values.
