Katie Leach
Where do you live? Jersey City, NJ.
Current company and position? Director at Actum.
First job and what it taught me? As a social media producer and breaking news writer at the Washington Examiner, I gained a deep understanding of how to leverage social media to amplify a brand’s digital presence. I quickly understood that the digital media landscape is dynamic and constantly evolving, demanding continuous adaptation to trends, emerging platforms, and the ability to tailor the same message for different channels. This continuous learning and adaptability have been key in shaping me into the digital consultant I am today.
How do you embrace your Irish heritage? I wear a Claddagh ring every day, a gift from my father, and it holds far more meaning to me than just a piece of jewelry. The Claddagh symbolizes the Irish values of love, loyalty, and friendship—values I strive to live by each day. Anyone who knows me well can attest to the fierce loyalty I have fort those near and dear to me.
Something people would be surprised to know about me... I am a novice antiquarian and collect old newspapers, magazines, and coins. In fact, my oldest newspaper is older than the Irish Echo!
