Current company and position? Illumination PR Managing Partner and Head of Celebrity Relations.
First job and what it taught me? My first job was a janitor at the local senior center in my hometown of Keansburg, New Jersey. It taught me the value of hard work, responsibility, and the importance of flexibility. As a high school senior, I was deeply involved in extracurricular activities, and I needed a job that would fit around my demanding schedule. This position offered me the flexibility to balance work, school, and my other commitments.
More importantly, it taught me the significance of contributing to my community in meaningful ways, even though seemingly small tasks. The senior center was a hub for local elderly residents, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for them felt impactful. I learned that no job is too small, and every role contributes to a larger mission.
This early experience also honed my time management skills and showed me how to prioritize responsibilities. It was a reminder that success isn’t just about big achievements, sometimes it’s about showing up, doing the work, and supporting others in the process.
How do you embrace your Irish heritage? I embrace my Irish heritage through the values of faith and family. Faith has been a source of strength and resilience, while family has always been my rock, teaching me that support and love are the true foundations of success.
And, of course, every March, I dive into the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day by attending enough parades and festivities throughout the month. It’s a joyful reminder of the pride that comes with being Irish, and a perfect excuse to spend time with my loved ones.

Something people would be surprised to know about me... I originally went to school for sociology, planning to become a social worker because I wanted to help others. While my career path took a different turn, I find my work in PR just as rewarding, helping people and brands flourish has become my passion. Also, at my wedding, I played the opening to Bruce Springsteen's "Thunder Road" on the harmonica.
