Brian Maher
Where do you live? Walden, NY.
Current company and position? New York State Assembly NYS Assemblyman, District 101.
First job and what it taught me? My first job was bussing tables at a restaurant at the age of 14. It taught me to respect every server and employee in the restaurant industry and it taught me to value the role of every single team member. The most successful restaurant, business or team needs commitment and high energy from everyone. Even those bussing tables and cleaning dishes must stay inspired and feel valued.
How do you embrace your Irish heritage? I embrace my Irish heritage by learning the history of my family and their journey to America and of course through food, music and a properly poured Guinness.
Something people would be surprised to know about me... I love to read and write poetry.
