Ryan Greff

Place of birth: New Jersey.

What is your profession? Executive Director of Fair Lawn Main Street Inc., the Borough of Fair Lawn's taxpayer funded economic development organization.

How do you celebrate your Irishness? My great-great grandmother migrated from Ireland to the United States through Ellis Island. Many people who came through Ellis Island did so in pursuit of opportunity in the United States. Through my work prompting economic vitality in New Jersey, I am able to do my part to ensure all people, just like the Irish Ellis Island immigrants of the past, are able to pursue opportunities and build successful lives in the United States.

Name a hero you admire and why? I admire my father, Glenn Greff, on account of the sacrifices he has made throughout his life for the betterment of others, as well as the countless hours he has spent serving the community though his volunteer work with the Boy Scouts of America.

Something people would be surprised to know about me... I serve on the advisory board of Ramapo College of New Jersey's Anisfield School of Business. I take a tremendous amount of pride in my connection to the institution where I earned my undergraduate degree.
