Job Description? Yonkers Firefighter.
Why I chose this career? I have family in both the NYC and Yonkers Fire Dept and have always admired the work firefighters do as well as the community they surround themselves around.
Proudest moment of my career? Becoming a member of Station 1.
Something people would be surprised to know about me... I sing and play the guitar.
Biography: Jack served 5 years in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged in July of 2019. Two months later Jack was appointed to the Yonkers Fire Department. After probation Jack spent 2 years assigned to Squad Co. 11 and has most recently spent the last 2 years assigned to Rescue Co. 1 at Station 1. Jack is a member of the Yonkers Firefighters Gaelic Society since 2021. Jack is a proud union member of IAFF Local 628.
Jack’s mother is from Gort Co. Galway, his paternal grandmother was from Cloone/Mohill Co. Leitrim and his beautiful girlfriend Jane is from Clifden Co. Galway.
