Laura has worked as a therapist at Boston Children’s Hospital and the Brandon School prior to turning to the legal side of child welfare. While going through law school and as the president of the Boston College Children’s Rights Group Laura was placed with her daughter Kayleah as a foster care placement. Laura adopted Kayleah shortly after while simultaneously finishing law school. Shortly after law school Laura joined her Father, Honorable William Joyce (retired) at his law firm in Boston, MA. Laura represents in court children in foster care, children with criminal offenses and conducts guardian ad litem investigations to comment to the court on children’s best interests. At home, Laura now has adopted two more children Jordan (6) and Lyra (1).
