Áine McLaughlin resides in Maryland. Irish culture has always been important to Áine; she spent summers in Ardara, County Donegal, and studied Irish step dancing and tin whistle. While completing her BA in English, Writing & Studio Art at Loyola University Maryland, Áine also studied at University College Cork, going on to earn her Master of Library Science from University of Maryland. Her experience includes labor organizing and communications. She serves as a Senior Strategic Communications Specialist at the SAFE Center for Human Trafficking Survivors and University of Maryland Baltimore.
