Jay Mwamba

Jay Mwamba is the Echo’s boxing correspondent and writes a column covering Irish soccer clubs in the New York area leagues. He’s the author of “Crash of the Buffalo” (AuthorHouse, 2023), a book about the 1993 plane crash in which the national soccer team of his native Zambia perished en route to a World Cup qualifier. He works in the communications office at City College New York.
