CFAIR declares itself as being dedicated to educating Americans about Ireland‘s unique cultures and Peace Process, particularly the Good Friday Agreement.
"The organization brings legislators, labor and business leaders to Ireland to introduce them to the people who make Ireland’s government, municipalities, social and sporting organizations, International relations, and the Peace Process work, in the Republic of Ireland, and the North of Ireland.
Mike McGuire
"Last fall a CFAIR delegation including NYC Council member and labor leaders and former CFAIR Honoree, U.S. Representative Tim Kennedy, traveled to Dublin and Belfast to meet with government, business, diplomatic and sporting officials. On April 10 CFAIR is recognizing three of the delegates who made that memorable trip."
According to CFAIR, Justin Brannon will be voicing his support for Irish Immigrants and, if elected New York City Comptroller, will make an investment in Northern Ireland by way of the city's pension fund. Keith Powers, who is running for Manhattan Borough President, is committed to ensuring anonymity, safety and access to the courts for all Irish immigrants.
All proceeds of the awards event will benefit the continued work of CFAIR which is registered as a Federal 501(c)3 not for profit.
