Pic of Day: Protestors were out in force outside Leinster House Wednesday supporting an array of causes, this as the new Dáil met to elect a new taoiseach and governing cabinet. This group of protestors wanted the government to ban greyhound racing. Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin was set to be nominated as Taoiseach by the Dáil, with Fine Gael leader Simon Harris expected to become Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs. But a row broke out, ostensibly over speaking time being allotted to opposition parties, and Dáil proceedings, including the election of taoiseach, were suspended until Thursday.
