John Finucane, son of murdered Belfast attorney Pat Finucane and a member of the British parliament for North Belfast, will be in the U.S. next week for a series of engagements in Washington, D.C., New York City and Rockland County, NY.
Finucane will be in the nation's capital on Monday, January 27 to speak at a meeting of the Irish Unity People’s Assembly: Diaspora. He will do the same on Thursday, January 30, in Rockland County.
In between, Finucane will be hosted at the New York City Bar Association on Wednesday, January 29 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The event is being organized by the Brehon Law Society.

Finucane will discuss the 35-year long campaign for truth about the murder of his father and the long-awaited quest for answers as to who was involved and why. He will provide an update into the British government's recent commitment to hold a public inquiry into his father's murder.
