Ireland captain Peter O’Mahony is one of the rugby personalities interviewed for the second season of the behind-the-scenes Netflix series “Six Nations: Full Contact,” which begins streaming today. O’Mahony is pictured here waiting to lead Ireland out for the first game against France, at the Orange Velodrome in Marseilles (the usual French home venue Stade de France was being prepared for the Summer Olympics) on Feb. 2, 2024. Ireland won the game 38-17 and went on to successfully defend the championship, as will be seen in Season 2. The Irish team’s 2023 Grand Slam win was covered in the first season of “Six Nations,” released early last year and still available on Netflix. Ireland will play England at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin, for their opening game of the 2025 season on this coming Saturday, Feb. 1.
