How to find your female ancestors

So says the Irish Family History Forum introducing its next gathering, “Finding Your Female Irish Ancestors,” which will take place on  Saturday, Sept. 21, beginning at 10 a.m.

Guest speaker Stephanie O’Connell, CG, will review methodologies and techniques that can be used to discover the lives of Irish women who emigrated to the United States in the 19th century. 

O’Connell is a professional genealogist who specializes in Irish and British research. She has served as a ProGen mentor and a SLIG faculty member. She has also lectured at the National Genealogical Society Family History Conference, New York State Family History Conference, Roots Tech, and numerous Family Legacy Tree Webinars.
