End in Sight for Lingus Dispute

The Irish Air Line Pilots' Association has recommended acceptance of Labour Court proposals aimed at resolving the pay dispute between its members and Aer Lingus.

However, Aer Lingus flights that have already been cancelled amid industrial action by IALPA pilots "will remain that way," a spokesperson for the airline has confirmed, this according to RTE.

The union, according to the report, is to suspend its work-to-rule while it awaits the outcome of a ballot of pilots.

"Those flights" have included the EI 104 and EI 105 service linking New York's JFK with Dublin.
