A total of 124 flights due to be operated by Aer Lingus from Wednesday, June 26 to Sunday, June 30 have been cancelled by the airline due to industrial action by pilots.
And other routes might yet be hit.
Among the cancellations are the iconic EI 105 and EI 104 flights that serve New York's JFK Airport.
The 105 scheduled for Wednesday, June 26 is the first U.S. bound flight to be affected, this according to a list published Friday by the Irish Times.
The same flight is grounded each day through the 30th. The normal takeoff time from Dublin would be 11.05 a.m.
Flights departing North America that are affected, this according to the list, are Wednesday, June 26th New York (JFK) to Dublin (DUB) EI0104; Thursday, June 27th New York (JFK) to Dublin (DUB) EI0104; Friday, June 28th New York (JFK) to Dublin (DUB) EI0104; Saturday, June 29th New York (JFK) to Dublin (DUB) EI0104 and Sunday, June 30th New York (JFK) to Dublin (DUB) EI0104. All the EI 104 flights would normally have a 4.55 p.m. takeoff time.
The situation with regard to the action by pilots is fluid and Aer Lingus customers are advised to watch out for any and all possible developments.
