It will be 5K on the Cinco de Mayo, so a double five.
But runners will only have to note the date and run the other five - they being kilometers.
This Sunday will see the the Aisling Center's annual 5K Run and Walk in memory of Pauline Boylan-Coll.
The race/walk will step off at the Rambling House, 4292 Katonah Aveenue in the Bronx NY. THe starting time is 9 a.m. Late registration is $35 and there will be plenty of refreshments afterwards.
The money raised goes towards funding programs such as Irish Volunteers for the Homeless Feeding Program, Senior Citizen's Programs and Services, Foróige – Youth Leadership Program, Free Counseling and all the other programs that the Yonkers-based Aisling Center provides.
