Congressman Delahunt served the state's 10th congressional district from 1997 until 2011.As chairman of the House Subcommittee on Human Rights, Congressman Delahunt took a special interest in unsolved deaths in Northern Ireland linked to alleged collusion. One such case was the death of Raymond McCord Jr. A hearing presided over by Rep. Delahunt, together with a report by the Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland, “powerfully exposed to the world British government collusion in the brutal murder of Raymond McCord, Jr.” - this according to a statement at the time Fr.
