Pic of Day: Actress Fionnula Flanagan was honoured at a handprint ceremony at the Gaiety Theatre. Ms. Flanagan has been performing the role of Nanna Glavin in John B. Keane’s "Sive" The tradition of the bronze handprints began as means of recognizing and celebrating some of the artists who have performed on the Gaiety stage and made their mark on the arts industry, both in Ireland and further afield. Ms. Flanagan is known for her roles in the films such as "James Joyce's Women," "Some Mother's Son," "Waking Ned," "The Others," "The Guard," and "Song of the Sea," as well as on television including "Lost" and "Brotherhood."
