Ireland lost 2-1 to Canada in their second group game today and despite having one more game to play against Nigeria they can no longer amass enough points to advance to the qualifying stages. Despite her disappointment, McCabe will have a moment to remember as she scored the first goal of the game, played in windy and rainy Perth.
