Congress take note.
A group of former congressional staffers are combining their blue and red former careers and have launched a lobbying venture that goes by the name of "Purple Apple."
One of those former staffers is Kevin Fogarty, for many years the chief of staff and communications director for Congressman Peter King.
Fogarty is being joined in Purple Apple by fellow former Capitol Hill staffers Brett Heimov, Chris Berardini, Carissa Fana, and Steve Stallmer.
Said a release from the veterans of countless releases: "New York’s unique ethnic, racial, and political diversity is reflected in the strength of Purple Apple. Our team consists of former Chiefs of Staff for members of the NY Congressional Delegation and our decades of experience, diversity and close political relationships allow us unique access to every corner of D.C.

Fogarty, according to the release, is a Partner & Co-Founder of Ambrose. He has been a senior advisor on Capitol Hill for close to 25 years. As Chief of Staff, Communications Director, and Legislative Director to Congressman Peter King (R-NY), he has a proven record of developing and maintaining bipartisan strategic coalitions and relationships and a leader on key public initiatives.

Underlining the bipartisan nature of Purple Apple, Brett Heimov served for a dozen years in the office of Congressman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Carissa Faña worked in the office of Congresswoman Nydia M. Velázquez (D-NY). Steve Stallmer worked over twenty years for four different members of the New York congressional delegation, while Chris Berardini also served as chief of staff for the combined New York delegation.
