AOH Division 3, NY County recently hosted an event at Tubby Hook Tavern in Inwood, Manhattan during which checks from the "Inwood Remembers Shamrock Fundraiser," which the division started around St. Patrick's Day, were presented to the family of fallen NYPD officer (Detective) Jason Rivera.
Around $4000 was raised to help fund a scholarship at Good Shepherd School in memory of Detective Rivera.
Additional funds were raised for the Inwood Little League in memory of James "Jimmy" Nolan and for the Maria Lall garden.
Rivera family members as well as representatives from the Maria Lall garden were present at the presentation event.
