Memorable And Truly Irish

Pic of Day: By 2030 it is estimated that "Gen Z" will represent 27% of global income and are the decision-makers of the future. Catherine Flanagan, CEO of Ireland’s Association of Visitor Experiences and Attractions (AVEA), says the nation’s tourism industry needs to adapt to this digital-first generation. The sixth annual AVEA conference will take place in County Clare on October 23 and 24 during which the owners and operators of Ireland’s leading visitor attractions will gather to discuss how the industry can achieve its full potential and elevate their businesses under the conference theme of  “World Class Experiences – Local Authenticity." The focus, according to a release, will be on how tourism businesses "must deliver excellent and memorable experiences to their visitors while remaining true to the spirit of Irish hospitality."
