Pic of Day: The merchant ship the MV Matthew at dock in Cork Harbour. Four men from the ship appeared before Judge Colm Roberts at Mallow District Court today. Each of them are charged with conspiracy to have in their possession, on September 24 in the State, a controlled drug, namely cocaine, for the purpose of supplying the drug with a value in excess of €13,000. Their appearance brings to seven the number of people charged in connection with the massive drugs haul of 2.2 tonnes found on board the MV Matthew last week.
