“We spoke about my deep commitment to the Good Friday Agreement, as well as the need for the UK government to not undermine the already-negotiated Northern Ireland Protocol, and the critical need to preserve access to justice for the victims of the Troubles.

"I wish incoming Minister O’Neill the best in her new position and I look forward to our continued dialogue and cooperation, and urge the incoming leaders of the Conservative Party in the UK to work in good faith with all parties to uphold the Good Friday Agreement, which has done so much to foster peace, stability and shared progress.”
