Pic of Day: Thirty Years Ago this week the long sought after involvement of the United States presidency in the quest for peace in Ireland took firm form at an Irish American Presidential Forum in Manhattan. Reporters asked questions of two Democratic presidential hopefuls, Jerry Brown and Bill Clinton. Both committed to appointing a peace envoy to Northern Ireland, a visa for Gerry Adams, and support for the MacBride Principles on fair employment.
