Cole To Lead Newark Parade

Pic of Day: Ancient Order of Hibernians National board member and son of Jersey, Jere Cole, will lead the Newark St. Patrick's Day Parade as its grand marshal.

As with parades all over, the Newark march is making a comeback after a two tear hiatus forced by the pandemic. And what bills itself as the oldest Irish American parade in New Jersey will take place on Friday, March 11, stepping off at 1 p.m. in downtown Newark.
