The Irish For Biden campaign group held a belated celebration for President Biden’s election victory. On hand were board members (l-r) John McCarthy, Special Assistant to President Biden, Brian O'Dwyer, Stella O’Leary and John Fitzpatrick, who hosted the gathering at the Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel. Democratic Mayoral nominee Eric Adams, also pictured, joined the festivities and told stories of his family vacation to Ireland in 2008. Candidate Adams also discussed his friendships with Irish American police officers that he served with when he was a captain in NYPD. He assured the gathering that if elected mayor in November the Irish would have a friend in Gracie Mansion.
