Should Claire D. Cronin of Massachusetts be confirmed by the U.S. Senate as U.S. Ambassador to Ireland she will be moving into what the Boston Globe describes as a "coveted diplomatic post." She will also be moving into a coveted ambassadorial residence, "Deerfield," in Dublin's Phoenix Park.
