Dan Barry, prize-winning reporter, columnist at The New York Times and author of several books, was presented with the inaugural Pete Hamill Award for Journalistic Excellence at the Glucksman Ireland House/New York University annual dinner and awards event which was held virtually Tuesday evening. The award is named after the late Pete Hamill, one of the greats of American newspaper journalism.
