Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden ended weeks of speculation Tuesday evening by naming Senator Kamala Harris (pictured) as his vice presidential running mate. The party ticket now has a strong immigrant ring to it, Harris being the daughter of Indian and Jamaican immigrant parents, and Biden being an Irish American with a strong sentimental attachment to the land of his Irish forebears.
