The death has taken place in New York of Cork native James "Jim" Cagney who, along with his wife Bridget, pictured here with him, was long a familiar face at community events and in community activities in his adopted city. And of course Jim's name was also most familiar, something his parents ensured in the year of his birth, 1933. Funeral arrangement were still pending Friday.
