Two favorites are back on the Manhattan stage on St. Patrick's Day -- Pierce Turner at Joe's Pub at 7 p.m. and Joe Hurley with his band Rogues March at Hill Country NYC, at 6:30.
Turner is celebrating the U.S launch of his new album "Vinegar Hill" at the iconic Lafayette Street venue, with special guest musicians Fred Parcells (ex Black 47) on trombone, and Avon Faire on multiple instruments and vocals. For details go to pierceturner.com.
Joe Hurley & Rogue's March will mark an album release, too, at 30 West 26th St. at the same moment, but it's the 20th anniversary of the release of their CD “Chaser.” Go to hillcountry.com for more details.
