A banner for Martin

The county banners are an iconic feature of the New York St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Some of them have been on annual display for many decades. From time to time a county steps off with a new banner and this year it was Derry which unfurled, for the first time, a new county banner featuring the image of the late Martin McGuinness. Pictured in front of the new banner is Derry Society President Joe Diamond.
