Patrick Clarke, a prominent member of the County Tyrone community in New York, will be waked today, Wednesday, after his sudden passing in his sleep on Friday, August 17.
Clarke, son of Patrick Sr. from Galbally, County Tyrone, had just returned to New York from a visit to his family’s home county.
The Clarke family own Celtic General Contractors and have long been known for their generosity towards a range of causes and charities.
Mr. Clarke is survived by his wife and young children.
Today, Wednesday, at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue in the Bronx (718-884-6100) there will be a wake from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Tomorrow, Thursday, the same hours will apply.
A funeral Mass will be offered Friday at 9.45 a.m. at St. Margaret of Cortona Church
