Frances Black headlines AIHS forum

Singer and Irish Senator, Frances Black headlined a recent forum at the American Irish Historical Society with actor, author and activist Malachy McCourt. The forum, hosted by the Council for American Ireland Relations and the AIHS, featured a talk and film from Ms. Black about her organization RISE, an institution that councils families of substance abusers. McCourt regaled the gathering with stories from his youth and wild days and nights with his Hollywood co-stars. Malachy now champions the annual Sober Saint Patrick’s Day party in New York.
