The recently appointed Irish government envoy to the U.S. Congress, John Deasy TD, met with Irish immigrant representatives at the Irish Consulate in Manhattan. The meeting included representatives of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Emerald Isle Immigration Center, Aisling Irish Center, New York Irish Center, Irish immigration centers in Philadelphia and San Francisco, and members of the undocumented Irish community.
