Just like politics, progress by degree

Quinnipiac University President, Dr. John L. Lahey, left, presents an honorary degree to Northern Ireland Legislative Assembly member and former Irish Echo publisher, Máirtín Ó Muilleoir, during commencement exercises for the College of Arts and Sciences at Quinnipiac University. Quinnipiac, in Hamden, Connecticut, is home to Ireland’s Great Hunger Museum, which has the world’s largest collection of visual art, artifacts and printed materials relating to the Irish Famine, and Ireland’s Great Hunger Institute, a scholarly resource for the study of the Great Hunger.
