Throwback Thursday

This week marks the 105th anniversary of the doomed maiden of RMS Titanic. After its final port call in Queenstown (Cobh) the Belfast-built marvel of its day set off across the Atlantic for New York. As the world all too well remembers, Titanic struck an iceberg at 11.40 p.m. on the night of April 14. She sank to the bottom of the Atlantic two hours and forty minutes later with a huge loss of life.
