Dáil bus protest

Bus Eireann staff and supporters speak with Fianna Fáil leader Micheal Martin TD as trade unions SIPTU and the NBRU protest outside the Dáil while the Minister for Transport Shane Ross appeared at Transport Committee in Dail Eireann on Wednesday afternoon. The minister has been accused of ignoring the nation-wide strike involving 2,600 employees since last Friday. Dublin Bus and Irish Rail workers, believing they will be next for wage and job cuts, will ballot early next week on whether to join the strike in solidarity.
