Mayors on ice
Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and former mayor Ray Flynn started last weekend’s historic hockey game at Fenway Park between Boston College and Providence College by dropping the ceremonial puck. Walsh is the first BC graduate to be elected Mayor of Boston and Flynn was first Boston public high school graduate since the 1950s to be elected mayor. Flynn is also a former All American Academic basketball player at Providence College.
