The lecture will be a multi-media presentation on the history of Irish music in New York and America from the mid-19th century to the turn of the 21st century.
At 4:30, the Irish American Heritage and Culture Committee will present awards to the winners of their annual art and oratory contests for NYC public school students. This program will take place from 4:30 pm until 5:00 pm immediately before the lecture and in the same location.
